FAQ

Answers to Every Question That Matters

Clear guidance on customization, production, and delivery to support confident project decisions.

Can aluminum single panels be fabricated into irregular shapes, such as curved or double-curved forms?

Yes. Complex shapes—such as curved, double-curved, and wave-like forms—can be realized through processes such as CNC bending, stretch bending, and welding. Design drawings must be provided in advance; the customization lead time is 3 to 5 days longer than that for flat panels.

Can aluminum veneer panels be used in humid environments (such as bathrooms or coastal areas)?

Yes, this is possible. By selecting a thickness of 2.0mm or greater combined with a fluorocarbon spray coating process, the surface coating achieves excellent sealing properties capable of resisting moisture and salt spray corrosion. For projects located in coastal areas, we recommend increasing the coating thickness or applying an anodizing treatment.

Where are aluminum single panels suitable for use?

- Outdoors: Building curtain walls, exterior wall decoration, storefront facades, canopies, column cladding;
- Indoors: Suspended ceilings, feature walls, partitions, elevator lobbies, commercial interior decoration;
- Specialized Settings: Large-scale public buildings such as airports, high-speed railway stations, sports stadiums, and shopping malls.

How are wood-grain and stone-grain aluminum panels produced? Are they eco-friendly?

Utilizing a "transfer printing process," a wood-grain or stone-grain film is applied to the surface of the aluminum veneer and subsequently cured at high temperatures to create the textured finish. The environmental compliance of the product depends on the coating used (specifically, the selection of powder coatings or fluorocarbon paints that meet national environmental standards and can pass third-party testing, such as SGS certification).

How do aluminum single panels perform in terms of wind pressure resistance and fire resistance?

- Wind Resistance: Through design considerations regarding material thickness and keel-fixing methods, the system meets the wind pressure requirements for Category 12 typhoons applicable to high-rise curtain walls.
- Fire Resistance: The base material consists of aluminum alloy (a non-combustible material), and the surface coating typically achieves a B1 fire rating, thereby complying with relevant building fire safety codes.

What is the difference between fluorocarbon-coated and powder-coated aluminum veneer panels?

- Fluorocarbon Spraying: Utilizes polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) coatings; offers strong weather resistance (resistant to UV radiation, acids, and alkalis) with a service life of 15–20 years; suitable for high-rise exterior curtain walls, though costs are relatively high.
- Powder Coating: Employs solid powder coatings; offers a rich variety of colors and low costs; weather resistance is slightly lower (service life of 5–10 years), making it suitable for indoor applications or low-rise outdoor structures.
