Guangzhou Infinitus Plaza, located in Baiyun New Town, was designed by Zaha Hadid and features an exterior resembling the “∞” infinity symbol. The exterior features approximately 28,000 double-curved, irregularly shaped perforated aluminum panels, each with unique dimensions and angles, finished with a fluorocarbon coating. Together with the glass curtain walls and ETFE membrane skylights, these panels form a fluid architectural skin that combines sunshading and energy efficiency with aesthetic play of light and shadow, making it a masterpiece of parametric design and digital construction.
